Policies & Charges

Minimum order value that we undertake is ₹500.

All the order specifications have to be conveyed and confirmed with our executive at the time of pickup. Post pickup no changes to the specifications can be made.

*Delivery Charges Rs.80- This charge will be applied only for orders below Rs.1000

Pick-up/delivery slot confirmation must be provided minimum 5 hours prior to the slot timing, failing to do so will lead to cancellation/reschedule.

Alterations - In the case when only the reference clothing is provided and no measurements are taken, free alterations will be provided only if the measurements of the final product differ from that of the reference. In case where the body measurements are taken by our executives, alteration request must be raised within 24 hours of delivery and we will arrange a reverse pickup within the next 7 days. Free alterations will only be provided in case of fitting issue. Design changes will be chargeable. A maximum of 2 alterations will be provided for any order. Refund will not be initiated for fitting issues. At the time of delivery/reverse pickup, Measurement Service will not be provided. In case of alterations, please give a detailed account of your alteration requirements to our executive, wrong description may lead to chargeable alterations. Re-alterations of Alteration orders will not be provided. Alterations for wear and tear will not be provided.

Turn around time -

We take approximately 10 - 12 days for dispatch under Standard Processing and 4 - 6 days for dispatch under Express processing. Please check the charges for Express Processing at https://www.threadstailor.com/express-tailoring. 
Additional days will be taken if opted for Embroidery/Fabric procurement.

Please note, all delivery will happen through courier service which take additional 2 - 3 working days for delivery. For faster delivery, instant delivery service can be opted. 

Shipping policy - Post payment confirmation, the order will be couriered to you through our courier partner - Porter (courier service). The order is expected to take 2-3 working days to reach you. In case of faster delivery, the customer can opt for Instant Delivery Service

Instant Delivery  Service - In case of instant delivery service, the order, once ready will be sent through any of the delivery services (Swiggy/ Dunzo/ Porter/Uncle delivery) available for your location. The delivery charges will have to be bared by the customer and shall be paid at the time of delivery . For orders in which courier delivery can not be attempted due to reasons such as limited time or unavailability of appointments, Instant delivery service may be opted.

Pricing - The base price as per the price list will include the basic design and stitching patterns. Each additional design/service will be charged accordingly. Please consult the executives for a rough estimate of the add-ons. Stitching  of fabrics such as georgette, chiffon, lace and embroidered fabric may have an additional cost added due to multiple linings/finishing required. Please enquire with our executives for more information. The default fabric used for lining will be cotton material. The prices quoted on the pricelist are inclusive of cotton lining. If opted of different lining ie. georgette/crepe/satin/rayon cotton, the additional charges will be added accordingly to the base price. The final invoice may vary and will be updated in case of any additions to the order, in case of of paid invoices a new invoice will be generated towards the additional amount. All pricing specified on the "Price list" page are exclusive of GST, a 5% GST will be applicable on all invoices.

In case of bad weather conditions, order pickup/delivery may get rescheduled to the next available slot to avoid any damages to the orders. We hope to seek your cooperation in such cases.

*Payment Policy - Payment must be made before order dispatch through online payment modes only. In case of cash payment, the payment has to be made at the time of pickup. Once the order is ready,  the order will be kept on hold for a maximum of 3 days without any penalty charges. Post 3 days, a penalty of Rs.50 per day will be added to the invoice till the invoice is cleared. We offer the following online payment modes - UPI payment and Bank Transfer.

*Measurement Charges Rs.50 - Measurement service is an optional service. Once this service is opted for, the body measurements will be taken at the time of pick-up. Pre-booking of Measurement Service 24 hours prior to the pickup is mandatory. Measurement  service for alteration orders will not be provided.

In case of False Pickup/Delivery Requests, a penalty of ₹200 will be charged. A Pickup/Delivery will be stated as False in case the Pickup/Delivery could not be completed due to customer's unavailability or Bill Payment Failure without any prior notice. 

 The appointment will be held in the span of the slot provided. We can not guarantee to provide services at specific time. The pickup/delivery session time is approx 15-20 mins. Please keep the clothing, reference clothing, and the designs ready beforehand to avoid any delay.

*Designing Charges - The design options for the clothing will be provided by our executives at the time of pickup. The designing session will be timed and charged accordingly.The charges are as follows:

1) Up-to 20 minutes - Rs.100.

2) For every additional 10 minutes, Rs.50 will be added.

Confirmation for Designing service must be provided 24 hours prior to the pick-up slot. 

Cancelation - Order cancelation is subject to the stage of processing. If the order processing has started, the order can not be cancelled. In cases of order cancelation, a new invoice will be generated and shared to the customer which will include the Cancelation charge of Rs.1000, Measurement charge (if opted for), Designing charge (if opted for), Procurements (if opted for) and Shipping charges. A penalty of Rs.200 per clothing will be charged in case of partial cancelations. Once the dues have been cleared, the clothing will be couriered back to the customer.

No hard copy of the bill/receipt will be provided to the customers, all the communication, confirmations, invoices will be shared through Whatsapp, emails and phone call.

Fabric Procurement - In the case where we are providing the fabric, a detailed account of the requirements and budget must be provided to us. An advance payment must be made at the time of pick up in this case. Once the stitching is completed, the clothing can not be rejected at the time of delivery due to price or quality issue. Please consult the executives for a rough estimate of the price at the time of pickup. In the case where we are procuring branded fabrics, a detailed account of your fabric and budget requirement must be provided before hand. The customer must be in conference with our executive at the time of purchase(time slot must be confirmed beforehand). A convenience charge of 10% will be charged on the bill amount.

All the clothing provided to us (for alterations & reference) should be washed before the pickup to maintain hygiene standards.

Compensation - In case of accidents/mishappening/fabric damage, the customer will receive a replacement of same/similar fabric depending on the availability. Please share available documents pertaining to price of item. There will be no monetary compensations in any cases. In case of fabric damage/loss during shipping, Threads Tailor Pvt. Ltd. can not be held accountable as we do not provide insurance for your goods. Claims can requested with the courier company. We ensure that our partners will take good care of your valuable items. We do not store any video/Images  the  packaging of orders

The company reserves the right to record and share the images of the order articles for advertisement purpose. No personal information of the customer will be shared during this course of action.

Damage/Missing item Claims - Damage/Missing item claims must be raised at the time of delivery. In such cases, the claims by the customer must be proved by sharing the first unboxing video without cuts which will be reviewed before taking any action. For damage claims, an image and video proof of clothing before the processing must be shared for confirmation.

Delivery Options - The delivery will be attempted through third party delivery/courier service. We use trusted courier partners to deliver your order. Once your order is dispatched, the delivery will be in accordance with the policies of the courier company.

Threads Tailor reserves the right to refuse service.

All orders may be subjected to delay due to unforeseen circumstances. In such cases, Threads Tailor is will not be held accountable for any refund/compensation.
